Raritan Bay FCU Dedication
We are dedicated to serving the individual financial needs of our members, as well as the greater causes of financial literacy, community strength, cooperation, and charity in Middlesex County. Just a few of the programs in which we participate to achieve this are listed below.
Toys-for-Tots ATM Program: Through ATM surcharges of non-member transactions, we have been able to raise thousands of dollars for Toys-for-Tots and other local charities.
Scholarship Awards: We offer all high school seniors who are members in good standing the opportunity to apply for scholarship money for their college education. Winners are selected based upon scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities and teacher recommendations. Find more information on our scholarship opportunities.
Community Involvement: Maintaining relationships within the communities we serve is a commitment we adhere to relentlessly. Raritan Bay FCU seeks such opportunities by participating in community events, such as Sayreville Day, South River's National Night Out, South Amboy's Raritan Bay Festival of the Arts, Sayreville Police Annual Torch Run to benefit local Special Olympics, and The Breast Cancer Walk in Edison. Such events allow us to create strong, long-lasting ties to the community residents who we serve.
M.C.F.O.O.D.S: We collect non-perishable foods in each of our offices that are donated to The Middlesex County Food Organization and Outreach Distribution Services (MCFOODS). M.C.F.O.O.D.S. collects and distributes nonperishable items at no cost to over 80 local food pantries and soup kitchens throughout the County, as well as an additional 25 agencies including: residential facilities, shelters, social service agencies, programs for women and children, senior citizen housing facilities and other outreach services that are also a part of our network.
