Raritan Bay FCU Dedication

We are dedicated to serving the individuals financial needs of those in Middlesex County, but we are also dedicated to the greater causes of financial literacy, community strength, cooperation and charity through the following programs:

ATM Surcharge Program: Through ATM surcharges of nonmember transactions, we have been able to raise thousands of dollars for Toys-for-Tots and other local charities.

Student-Run Branches: The Lighthouse Credit Union, which opened in 1999 and is located in South Amboy Middle/High School, was the first student-run branch in the state of New Jersey. This branch is staffed by the students of South Amboy High School and is available to the students, staff and faculty.

The second student-run branch, The Eagle's Nest, is open to students, staff and faculty at Cardinal McCarrick High School. Through this real-life experience, students get to learn "hands-on" about the importance of saving money and establishing and maintaining good credit. They also gain invaluable work experience by learning how to operate a small business and the importance of teamwork. For more information on our student-run branches, click here.

Community Involvement: Maintaining relations within the communities we serve is commitment we adhere to relentlessly. Raritan Bay FCU seeks such opportunities by participating in community events, such as Sayreville Day, South River's National Night Out, South Amboy's Raritan Bay Seafood Festival, Sayreville Police Annual Torch Run to benefit local Special Olympics and Breast Cancer Walk in Woodbridge. Such events allow us to create strong, long-lasting ties to the community residents who we serve.

Scholarship Awards: We offer all high school seniors who are members in good standing the opportunity to apply for scholarship money for their college education. Winners are selected based upon scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities and teacher recommendations. For more information on our scholarship opportunity, click here.
